History

Aisa Coating (Sprimatec) was formerly part of the Sprimag Group. Founded in 1998 in São Paulo, it was originally designed as a showroom to present Sprimag’s latest coating technologies. Two years later, the company started to successfully deliver coating services for small automotive plastic parts.

Painting

Our painting system is composed of 3 spray booths totally integrated in a chained conveyor. Pieces are transported in a spin system for a complete and uniform coating of the highest quality. Vehicle body parts which require high-gloss colour are painted in a wet-on-wet process, managed by a PLC system.

Single-Coat Painting

Our single-coat painting system is composed of 4 automatic machines, which guarantee a high-quality coat and finish. Ideal for painting interior parts of vehicles, as well as other applications that do not require multiple coats.

Laser Etching

For many years, Aisa Coating (Sprimatec) has been providing excellent laser-etching for parts such as keys and vehicle panels, but also for different electronic applications and markets. First, the design is marked on the parts with the use of a tampography machine. Then, a uniform coat is applied by a 3-axis painting machine. Text and graphics are laser-etched onto the paint with high precision. Laboratory checks are performed to ensure quality and accurate positioning of the text and graphics.

Quality Control Lab tests

To guarantee the quality of our coating services, we have invested in a suite of test equipment that enables us to carry out a wide range of tests, as requested by our clients.

Examples of tests performed in our Quality Control Lab:

Munsell test for colour recognition, capacity and acuity.
Paint density, viscosity, colour matching, gloss level, thickness and adhesion controls.
Solid residues measurement.
X-Rite and BYK mac I spectrophotometry test.
As some parts are exposed to chemical products at the final application, upon request we can test our painted parts against a wide list of substances, and provide reports of durability and resistance.
To assure the paint curing process, we constantly employ thermographic control to the curing ovens, using an EasyTrack Datapaq that provides accurate feedback about temperatures during the process, both for the parts and the environment.
