The Cap
The cap component is a moulded PP part which is produced off-line, using high speed and high quality component production.
Cap application is an integral part of the SAESA® machine as well as the torque control. Since these operations are performed on the same mandrel as the heading, no additional transfer, accumulation systems or tooling are needed. The result is a compact easy to adopt and operate machine range with the fastest diameter change over on the market. SAESA® technology allows the use of a wide variety of cap components; round, oval and even single use twist off closures can be handled.
