AISA was founded in 1962 to manufacture automatic internal lacquering equipment for aluminium tubes and aerosol cans.

After moving to its present location in Vouvry, Switzerland in 1972, Aisa developed its first laminate tube production machine. In the eighties, while continuing to build on its expertise in laminated tube technology, Aisa also entered the field of plastic tube heading machine technology.
In 2003, SIH Group is created incorporating Aisa as well as other companies active in the automation and packaging industry.
More than 45 years after its creation, Aisa is holding for several years now the leading position in the laminate tube manufacturing machinery industry as well as the most evolutional plastic tube heading technology on the market.
